Have your say
We are currently carrying out a consultation to gather feedback from local people about the future locations of acute mental health beds for people of working age. You can find out more here.
If you would like to fill in our questionnaire to respond to the consultation click here.
Our consultation runs from 16 January to 12 April 2020. We want to know what you think.
We are also talking to people about our initial thoughts about the future of community health and care services in Somerset. This is not a consultation. If you’d like to find out more, visit our community services page.

Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group is developing a Citizens’ Panel to ensure that we can listen to and learn from our local residents. By sharing your feedback and opinions on health and care services, you can help us to design services that take into account ‘what matters to people’, on a range of topics related to health and care services.
What is involved if I join the Citizens’ Panel?
Citizens’ Panel members will be contacted throughout the year to provide their input and views on health and care services in Somerset. You’ll be invited to take part in a range of surveys which you can fill in online or through the post, and you can also opt to attend focus groups, working groups or committees in person to talk about health and care in more detail.
What’s in it for me?
- You will be helping to ensure we provide better quality care in a way that matters the most to local residents.
- You will have the opportunity to have your views heard by local health and care decision-makers.
- You will find out about new plans and ideas for Somerset.
To join the panel go to https://surveys.qaresearch.co.uk/somersetpanel.asp, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01935 384022.
